Let's Make Whoopie.
Whoopie Pies that is. Cheeky!
Whoopie Tuesday has been a great success; this is Vivid's first ever attempt at these tasty treats and oh my they taste good! If you've never done Whoopie Pies, sort it out!
Vivid find the hardest part of this process is trying not to eat the mixture when mixing it all up as it is way too super tasty. This is a really simple recipe too, meaning we can whip more up in a matter of minutes...We think we have a whoopie addiction!
Look at them all lined up and ready to be popped in the oven. Oooh!
Whoopie pies are 'easy as pie' to make, but if you are using the marshmallow Fluff like we did, you are going to have a lot of sticky cleaning up to do! My goodness it is impossibly messy. Yay!
Here are the cakes lined up and ready for us to goop in the filling. Oooh! Vivid are starting to drool on the laptop! When you bake these, you only need to until they are just starting to bounce. You then need to take them out and let them cool on the try for about 5 mins. If you do it any other way you'll either burn the edges or loose the bases when you lift them off.
Thats right, there is a Whoopie science!
