What I wore... to the Grand Prix at Monte Carlo

Fancy a ride? Haha! Ok ok, unfortunately I wasn't in Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix ... in fact this was the fastest machine I rode whilst I was in town, but it's a pretty sweet ride none the less, right?!

I wore my summery watermelon dress for this lovely little day trip. It's delicious! It's by SugarHill Boutique and it was an exclusive design for Oliver Bonas but I think they're all gone now (sorry!) It's got a pleated skirt going on which is really popular right now, but I find these kinds of dresses always need a good belt on them. It looks a little bare with just a seam on your waistline!

Being only away for a few days, you'll notice that my black cardigan and polka dot shoes were both worn in my last blog post... They might be simple, but they go with everything, see? That's the most important thing to learn about fashion - invest in a few key pieces in your wardrobe that can match up with lots of your clothes. If I can ever afford anything from Chanel, it will be a key piece that you'll never see me taking off!

It just goes to show, a girl on a budget can do lots of things if she sets her mind to it ;)
