If I could give you one piece of advice today, it would be don't be afraid to fail; be afraid not to try.
This week I have been totally consumed with setting up our new Etsy team; whilst I'm really excited to be working on it, I'm super out of my comfort zone! I hope to be networking with as many sellers in Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian as possible as well as setting up various events and workshops so we can help each other build stronger businesses and a better community for our makers ... I've never done anything quite like it before, but great things only come from leaving your comfort zone!
I'm delighted to share that I have just been selected alongside 30 other Etsy Team Captains in the UK to attend the London Summit with Etsy this May... With over thousands team captains contacted to apply for the event and some stiff competition, I couldn't believe it when I got the email saying I had been picked!
So, I'm looking forward to getting our team on its feet, and setting up various events and workshops with my lovely new team leaders and I'm going to make the most of being out of my comfort zone. I hope this little artwork inspires you to try something new today too!
I'll be sharing everything I learn from the event with you as soon as I'm back... I can't wait to get stuck in so keep your eyes peeled and watch this space :D
I found your blog through the Bloggers & Readers team on Etsy. Congratulations on being selected! Sounds like an exciting event!
