Happy September everyone!
August just flew by, right? The sun was out and the whole of Great Britain was a buzz with the London Olympics... It's been epic! Incase you missed anything on our blog, you can catch up with this month's round up. Ready? Ok!
Our wordless wednesday posts are still going strong :D This month has had great weather, meaning our little photos are sunny bright and beautiful. It's been brilliant to have a break from the rain and enjoy plenty of ice cream and fro-yo. Autumn leaves will bring Chai tea lattes so not all will be lost when the sun takes his holiday!
We've been making things to get organised and to get accessorised for our music festival weekend this month and shared a wicked lady neck tie diy, showed you how to make a magnetic notice board with house hold objects, up-cycled some old sunnies into a pair of glitter sunglasses and even customised canvas shoes. We are really getting into our diys and hope you are too! If you have any requests we'd love to hear them :D
We are now selling our prints online with GingerPickle.co.uk and got the opportunity to hang out with the owner and awesome jewellery maker Jade. If you're wanting to find out how to get your designs stocked online, this interview is a must! We are also giving away one of our I Love You A Latte cards for Ginger Pickles birthday - make sure to enter the competition here :D
We've been really inspired by our trip to Leeds Music Festival - being massive fans of The Cure and The Foo Fighters there is no surprise I was jumping for joy when we got to see them play! We also posted some of our favorite images of Marilyn Monroe to mark her anniversary. That is one beautiful woman! Finally, we spent a lot of time hanging out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and taking in lots of shows. We love the festival season in Edinburgh, it's so busteling and there is plenty of stuff on to do for free :D
Finally, this month we have had some incredible things happen. We got featured by Blog & Buy Sale as one of their Top 10 Back To School Essentials. With Tatty Devine and Lazy Oaf making the cut too, we are really honoured! We also had our second Mollie Makes blog feature; our lovely little pom pom tutorial got loads of kudos from them :D And our biggest achievement to date happened; our product got published! A massive thank you to BIBA Magazine, a French publication who loved our geek pencils so much they printed them. I am still blowen away by it! What an honour!!
We can't wait to see what September brings :D
Hope you had a fab month too...
Congrats on all your success and I look forward to seeing your coming fall blog posts! ;-)
