Like most small people, Vivid are obsessed with Japan.

We are trying very hard to save up our pennies to go visit one day in the future to see all the bright lights, amazing technology and all those super cute things that boggle the mind!

Unfortunately, Vivid can't quite afford our big trip yet, so did what everyone else would do. Find the closest thing to it near by!

We were fortunate enough to bag ourselves a room in the super trendy citizenM hotel in Glasgow for the night; possibly the coolest budget boutique hotel in Scotland!

As you can see from the photo, these rooms are like small pods, but the most spacious small pods ever! We love these Japanese styled rooms, which really make you feel like you are in a whole other world. The bed (where this image has been taken from) is MASSIVE, and right beside a wall sized window. Amazing. Oh, and that purple glass area would be the toilet and shower room - perhaps the coolest bathroom we have ever seen!

The lounge area in the hotel is an interior dream with everything in site decorated in black and red, and big white balls of light hang from the ceiling. Oooh! There is also more art books than you can throw a stick at and several Mac's for you to surf for free on. Be still our hearts!

Last but not least, check out the hotel bar.

Ouch.

Even if you aren't lucky enough to get a room, we recommend popping in for a drink or some of their tasty treats - you really will feel like you are a million miles away!
