Wordless Wednesday: Farewell Instagram!

We're really sad to share that this will be our last Wordless Wednesday post using Instagram. Due to the updated terms and conditions, we have decided to close down our account as we wish to retain full ownership of our images.

For those of you who aren't sure of the changes, you can read up a little more in this article. Whilst Instagram has since backtracked on some important decisions, we feel that it's just a matter of time before they proceed regardless and ruin it for everyone (like Facebook).

For those of you who would like to leave but still keep all your photographs, you can download your  files and save them to a zip file really easily using instaport

We will continue to post and share our images for Wordless Wednesday and hope to find a new photo app network to hang out with you on really soon!

Thanks for your support!

  1. Oh I hear flickr has their own app now ;)
I love how they picked a picture of Mr facebook on which he looks like the sort that would steal your pictures. ;)

  2. I heard about this. I'm not affected, of course, since my phone is a Pebl, but I get the feeling that all of these networks and websites intend to add things like this to their policies from the beginning, but no one will sign up if they do it immediately.

With the fall of Instagram, I'm sure another app will rise up and take its place. And just as well - I enjoy wordless wednesday!

    1. True, very true. That's what happens when a massive company pays a million dollars for something that's ephemeral; they're going to try and milk it for every penny it's worth. We have every faith that there is some twentysomething working away on something better -- and no doubt way more popular anyway. Here's to the young developers!!
